Fix WordPress consent

Already have a cookie plugin but still getting warnings? We trace the scripts behind the banner, agree the work and test the result after making changes.

A plugin is only part of the setup

Free and paid consent plugins can both work when correctly configured. Problems often arise because a theme, page builder, marketing plugin or embedded tool loads tracking outside the consent controls. Changing to a paid plugin without investigating those sources can leave the same problem in place. We do not claim that most free plugins are ineffective.

Start with evidence

Run the free five-page scan or select a saved report from your account. The report separates failed checks, warnings and incomplete tests. Tell us which platform you use, what tracking is intentional and which pages contain important forms or checkout. We use that information to define a technical scope, rather than selling a generic “compliance certificate”.

What the work may include

Depending on the agreed findings, work can involve consent-plugin configuration, removing duplicate tags, controlling script loading, delaying embeds, adding a persistent settings control, or writing a small custom plugin. We test that Reject is respected and that necessary website functions still work. Third-party licences and unrelated development are agreed separately.

  • A confirmed scope and price before payment.
  • A backup and temporary access before changes.
  • A scheduled work date confirmed by us.
  • A completion report, stated retest coverage and your review before sign-off.

How much does it cost?

The base fixing prices for one website are £200 for 1–60 public pages, £400 for 61–300 pages and £600 for 301 or more. The current 50% launch offer is £100, £200 and £300 respectively for new fix plans. Previously agreed quotes keep their approved price. We confirm the whole website page count and scope; a free scan sampling five pages does not make a large site a five-page project. We are not VAT registered. Payment is taken after agreement and before scheduled work.

What a successful retest means

A retest should show whether the agreed technical problems remain within the tested pages and visitor states. It does not prove every internal data process is lawful or cover future plugins added later. Keep the report, retain access to Cookie settings and retest after significant tracking or theme changes.
