EXPERT REVIEW · BESPOKE WEBSITE CHANGES
Does your cookie banner work?
A cookie banner should do more than look the part.
Your visitor clicks “Reject”. Does the tracking actually stop? We check your website, connect cookie choices to its tracking tools, update the agreed privacy information and test the result. We handle the changes for you.

Each check counts once, using its weakest result across the scanned pages. Passed checks earn 100 points, warnings 70, medium-risk failures 40, and high-risk failures 0. We average only assessed checks. Untested checks do not lower your score. Any confirmed failure caps the score at 59.
85–100 Good · 65–84 Fair · 40–64 Needs attention · 0–39 Poor. Warnings mean something needs checking, not a confirmed failure. Coverage tells you how much we could assess; a high score with partial coverage is not an all-clear.
Only covers this scan’s checks and pages. Not a legal compliance certificate or a prediction of fines.

REAL PEOPLE. WORK ON YOUR ACTUAL WEBSITE.
We find the cause. Then do the fixing.
You’re paying for hands-on website work. We manually inspect your setup, investigate the scan findings and agree what needs changing with you.
That might mean changing how tracking loads, fixing your cookie controls or writing custom code. If a plugin is needed, it is part of the solution — not the whole service.

ALREADY HAVE A WORDPRESS COOKIE PLUGIN?
A cookie banner.Or just decoration?
Compliance doesn’t come with the “Activate plugin” button. Your banner might look lovely while advertising trackers carry on behind it. What matters is whether visitors’ choices actually work.
The popup can disappear while advertising cookies are still being added. Check what the website does after Reject—not just whether the banner closes.
That’s why GDPRFix tests the behaviour behind the button.
03That new marketing tool needs checking too.+
Adding an advertising tool or changing how your website loads can affect cookie blocking. If tracking loads before the consent tool, the tool may not stop it in time. Test again after changes.
A properly configured free plugin can work well. Test your setup; don’t judge it by the price.
WHY YOUR BUSINESS SHOULD CARE
It’s your website.It’s your reputation.
A cookie popup is a promise to your visitors. If it ignores their choice, your business could face complaints, enforcement and a bill to put things right.
Regulator action. Possible fines.
Advertising cookies used without the required permission can break UK cookie rules. The ICO can investigate and take enforcement action.
A visitor can challenge how you use their data. Investigating, replying and arranging website changes takes time—and may mean paying for technical or legal help.
Trust that’s hard to win back.
If your website ignores “no”, why should a customer trust it with anything else? A broken privacy promise can damage confidence in your business.
POTENTIAL UK FINES · LEGAL MAXIMUM
UK cookie-rule fines can reach £17.5m or 4% of global turnover.
These are the ICO’s maximum PECR powers, not a typical fine or a prediction for your website. The facts, seriousness and circumstances of a breach matter.
In the EU, serious GDPR breaches can lead to fines of up to €20 million or 4% of annual worldwide turnover, whichever is higher.
That is the highest GDPR tier, not the automatic penalty for a cookie problem. Cookie rules also depend on national ePrivacy law. Public-body fines depend on national law.
A scan shows technical evidence. It cannot guarantee compliance or predict a fine.
01 / WHAT YOU GET
Know what’s wrong.Know what to do.
Get hands-on website changes and a clear record of what we tested, what we changed and what still needs attention. Our engineers explain the results in everyday language.
A policy copied three years ago might name tools you don’t use, miss the ones you do, or even mention somebody else’s company. A wall of legal wording won’t fix that.
It should explain what information you collect, why, who receives it and how long you keep it. Tell us if you need policy help when requesting fixes: we’ll confirm what is included in your plan.
Whether you run a business, charity or public body, people expect their choices to count. Bring the report to your website team or ask us to work through the technical fixes with you.
We confirm the countries, website language and requirements we can support before agreeing work. Our current scanner uses UK-focused rules; it does not certify EU-wide compliance.
WE TEST OUR OWN WEBSITE TOOSee our actual results.
Read our dated self-scan, the checks that passed and the questions still needing review. See the evidence and the limits of the test.
Create a free account and verify your email to run up to 3 scans in 10 minutes. Find your saved reports for 30 days, compare results and reuse a scan when requesting fixes.
Send your website address and what you need help with. No account or scan required.
