More than a cookie list
We look at what your website saves in a visitor’s browser and when it happens. We also record contact with other services, such as advertising tools, so your developer can trace what caused it.
Purpose matters
A shopping basket and an advertising tracker do different jobs. Some uses do not need consent if they meet the relevant conditions. We keep uncertain results as warnings so someone can check what the tool actually does.
Evidence before conclusions
We flag a failed check when the test records supported evidence, such as recognised advertising data saved before permission. An unfamiliar cookie name alone is not enough to call your website unlawful.
Clear limitations
Server-side processing, sophisticated fingerprinting, service-worker behaviour and every storage mechanism cannot be established by this scanner. Observation windows are bounded; a passed check applies only to the stated test.
